This Distributor has a network of depots across England. They wanted to rationalise their existing service providers and work with one AD plant who were capable of destroying high volumes of palletised food waste whilst ensuring all packaging was re-cycled. They also wanted to receive one monthly invoice that assigned all relevant costs that were incurred to each respective depot, as well as providing a “Certificate of Secure Destruction” for every load, and in some cases individual pallets, so this documentation could be provided back to their Clients.
To ensure complete traceability, Swancote Energy receives food waste collection requests via email sent direct from each of the Distributors depots. Using a transport partner, Swancote arranges all aspects of the haulage and simply passes these costs on at the end of each month. Every collection is made within a maximum of 48 hours of the request, and the food waste is processed within 48 hours of arrival at Swancote Energy.
Swancote Energy continues to provide this disposal service to the Distributor.
